 lf-doubt and move forward with greater confidence!\n\nJoin the Center for
  Material Culture Studies (CMCS) and the Career Center for “Managing Your
  Inner Critic\,” a free professional development workshop designed especi
 ally for graduate students and led by Lisa Hatcher\, professional actress
 \, communication consultant\, and public speaking coach.\n\nThrough a ser
 ies of exercises\, participants will learn techniques to build confidence
  in public speaking\, whether presenting their research\, engaging audien
 ces\, or communicating in everyday professional settings.\n\nWe encourage
  graduate students to take advantage of this free opportunity to develop 
 the skills that will support them throughout their academic and professio
