 titute of Polish Culture for a public lecture by Ambassador Krzysztof Szc
 zerski\, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United
  Nations\, as part of the 2026-2027 Series for the Lady Blanka Rosenstiel
  Endowed Program in Polish Heritage at the University of Miami.\n\nThe le
 cture "Poland and the US in the New World Disorder" will examine the key 
 challenges of contemporary geopolitics and the importance of Polish Ameri
 can relations\, grounded in shared values and mutual interests\, while hi
 ghlighting the significance of Poland’s inclusion in the G20 ahead of the
  December 2026 Miami Summit as recognition of its growing role as a globa
 l economic powerhouse and a leading voice for Central Europe.\n\nBiograph
 y of the Ambassador.\n\nKrzysztof Szczerski was born in 1973 in Kraków\, 
 Poland.\n\nEducation and academia.\n\nIn 1997 he graduated from the Jagie
 llonian University\, Krakow\, Poland with a master’s degree in political 
 science\, and in 2001 he obtained his PhD at this university’s Institute 
 of Political Sciences and International Relations.\n\nHe completed his ha
 bilitation (postdoctoral degree) in 2010\, based on a dissertation entitl
 ed Dynamics of the European System\, for which he received the Prime Mini
 ster’s Award. In 2018 he was awarded the title of Professor of Social Sci
 ences. Since 2000 he has been an affiliated scholar of the Jagiellonian U
 niversity and has twice been Deputy Director of its Institute of Politica
