  member of a patient with cancer about their experience supporting a love
 d one through serious illness and hospice care. Following the first-year 
 healthcare proxy event\, this discussion will explore advocating for a lo
 ved one\, navigating care decisions\, and honoring their wishes. We will 
 also be joined by members of the patient’s care team\, including the atte
 nding physician\, Dr. Goldberg\, and medical students\, to discuss their 
 roles at different stages of medical training and how they support patien
 ts and families through communication and compassionate care. Dessert wil
