DESCRIPTION:In this ENGL 1301 workshop\, students will build upon what the
 y’ve learned from the DCA and RAE into the Synthesis Essay. You will lear
 n how to advance conversations by turning them in new directions. Our con
 sultants will offer specific advice on synthesizing arguments and structu
 ring your papers\, from introduction to conclusion. You will also get the
  opportunity to see selections for sample Synthesis Essays\, discuss succ
 essful and ineffective elements\, and practice synthesis for yourself.\n\
 nThe Synthesis workshop\, offered both virtually and in person. is at 12 
 p.m. Monday\, Nov. 16 (in-person workshop) at the Writing Center (located
  in the Central Library\, 4th Floor\, Room 411) and at 10 a.m. Wednesday\
