SUMMARY:OSU Faculty-led: From Molecules to Minerals: Chemical Engineering
 in Thessaloniki (INFO SESSION)
LOCATION:Johnson Hall 221\, 105 SW 26th Street\, Corvallis\, OR 97321
DESCRIPTION:Join faculty leaders Dr. Kostas Goulas and Associate Professor
Madison Webb for an information session to learn more about this six-cre
dit\, six-week program in Greece.\n\nThessaloniki\, Greece offers chemica
 l engineering students a unique opportunity to complete a core\, lab-base
d degree requirement while studying at one of Europe’s leading research u
niversities. The program emphasizes experiential learning through a serie
s of carefully selected and adapted laboratory modules\, including pump p
erformance\, boiling and convective heat transfer\, multiphase flow\, and
heat exchangers. AUTh faculty will supervise laboratory work using profe
ssional-grade equipment\, while the OSU program leader provides academic
oversight\, assessment\, and alignment with OSU chemical engineering lear
ning outcomes. OSU participants will work alongside and interact with loc
al AUTh students in shared laboratory spaces\, creating opportunities for
academic exchange\, collaboration\, and insight into how chemical engine
ering is taught and practiced in a European university context. Beyond th
e laboratory\, Thessaloniki provides a dynamic cultural and historical ba
 ckdrop for your studies.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/11ad6a7b-655c-46a
