SUMMARY:The Aux Factor: Day 5 Ipals Week Event
LOCATION:Douglass Hall
DESCRIPTION:The Aux Factor brings a high-energy music battle into Ipals We
ek\, with teams playing songs from their region that match a themed promp
t (like "best song to play in a car" or "song you play at a wedding") whi
le the coordinators vote on which performance best captures the theme. Th
is event is essential because music is one of the most immediate ways stu
dents can share their culture\, letting teams show pride in their region
while exposing the rest of Ipals to sounds and artists they may never hav
e encountered otherwise. The themed rounds keep the format structured and
fair\, giving every region a chance to shine rather than turning into a
popularity contest. Amazon gift cards for the top two teams give the comp
etition real stakes\, motivating teams to put thought and energy into the
ir song choices rather than picking something at random\, which turns the
event into a genuine contest of cultural pride rather than just backgrou
 nd music\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/17690acc-618a-4555-9d8c-ea3ad8b45
