 d Empire Labor & Community Center at UC Riverside (IELCC-UCR) for a binat
 ional conference bringing together scholars\, advocates\, organizers\, an
 d community members to examine environmental justice\, immigrant rights\,
  and Indigenous rights in the Mexico-US border region\, with a focus on t
 he California-Baja California region. Through panels and workshops\, part
 icipants will explore research\, advocacy strategies\, and cross-border a
 pproaches to advancing justice and strengthening binational networks.\n\n
 Featured speakers include Dr. Fernando Márquez Duarte (Comité de Justicia
  Ambiental de la Frontera)\, Dr. Juan De Lara (University of Southern Cal
 ifornia)\, Carlos Perea (Harbor Institute for Immigrant & Economic Justic
 e)\, and other scholars and advocates from both sides of the border.\n\nL
