  Pitt's Master of Library and Information Science Program!\n\nThe evening
  features a panel\, exhibit\, and light refreshments\, exploring the orig
 ins of these historic Pittsburgh institutions: pioneering contributions t
 o libraries and children\, lively anecdotes of the pioneers behind them\,
  and a look at what's ahead.\n\nFounded in 1901 by Carnegie Library of Pi
 ttsburgh\, the Training School was the world's first program to train lib
 rarians to serve children. Its core teaching materials became the nucleus
  of the Elizabeth Nesbitt Collection\, formally named and dedicated in 19
