DESCRIPTION:The Oregon Sea Grant Marine Education Program will be hosting 
 several exciting\, hands-on homeschool programs at Hatfield Marine Scienc
 e Center in Newport\, Oregon this Fall - "Solid Science" and "MicroScienc
 e". Each program includes two date options and age-specific tracks. Famil
 y-friendly tracks will be for participants with predominantly younger chi
 ldren (ages 4 to 10) and mixed aged children (ages 8 to 12) and parents a
 nd children participate in classes as a family unit. Students that are 12
  to 18 years may participate in the students only (drop-off) track where 
 adult supervision is not required.\n\nImportant note: the target grade le
 vels for each "family friendly" track are suggested\; therefore\, all par
 ticipants do not need to fall within the target age range. We recommend a
 ssessing your student learning levels and choosing the track that best fi
 ts your family’s needs. Educators will tailor the content to meet partici
 pants’ educational needs\, with parents providing additional support for 
 children outside the target grades. Participants in the students only tra
 ck must fall within the 12 to 18 age range. Please review all logistics a
 nd registration tips below prior to submitting your registration. We look
