 s humans to create a model that can act as an extension of the creator's 
 mind and classify data based on predetermined categories. Manually taggin
 g thousands of rows of data can often be cumbersome and time consuming\, 
 and working with AI can save researchers time and help catalyze data anal
 ysis on projects that would otherwise take an untenable number of working
  hours. This hands-on workshop introduces machine learning methods for wo
 rking with text using large language models\, and will teach participants
  how to use Claude for data transformation and text analysis in Python. P
 articipants will use pandas to clean and manipulate a dataframe\, then ap
 ply LLMs to classify and analyze textual data and evaluate the results. T
 he optional pre-workshop covers the Python skills needed for the workshop
 \; learners who are unfamiliar with loc functions and Python string metho
 ds should plan to attend\, and all are welcome.\n\nAn optional pre-worksh
