 anhattan\, KS 66506
DESCRIPTION:Double Take: Gallery Tour of Select Artworks | Thurs.\, Nov. 1
 9\, 2026 | 5:30-6 p.m. | Beach Museum of Art | Free and open to the publi
 c\nTheme: 1+1 = 3 — New Meaning from Combinations\n\nImages carry meaning
. Artists rely on this fact as they bring together multiple images within
a single work. Each meeting makes new meaning — something neither image
carried alone. This conversation explores how combination shapes what art
says\, from the canvas to the wall to the viewer.\n\nDouble Take is a 30
-minute program hosted by Museum Outreach Specialist Nate McClendon that
invites participants to take a deeper look at selected artworks on displa
 y. Gain insight into artistic techniques\, philosophies\, and the role of
art in everyday life\, while also having the opportunity to anonymously
share and observe real-time reactions to the works. Join us throughout th
e year as we discover how to use the museum\, engage with art\, and uncov
 er why art matters.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/24cc0fb7-1328-4a3f-a52
