DESCRIPTION:The Hofstra University Pep Band would like to invite all first
  and second year students to an open rehearsal to explore the opportunity
  to join our fantastic organization. We encourage any students who may ha
 ve played a band instrument in high school (woodwind or brass) to join us
  for a special rehearsal in Shapiro Hall's large rehearsal space on the b
 asement floor.\n\nAll current Music Education students are also encourage
 d to attend in order to explore a secondary instrument or simply try a ne
 w performing ensemble that encourages fun and excitement while supporting
  our great university's spirit.\n\nThe University Pep Band supports many 
 athletic events on campus as well as several on-campus and off-campus eve
