DESCRIPTION:Generative AI is both a remarkable technology and also a tool 
 whose ever-increasing use presents ethical concerns and very real\, mater
 ial cost. In this presentation\, students will gain an understanding of p
 ersonal risks and societal harms that can be perpetuated by uncritical ov
 erreliance on generative AI for information-seeking and decision-making. 
 Students will also learn about the environmental impact occurring as a re
 sult of the push for generative AI adoption. Finally\, students will be p
 rovided with strategies to efficiently use generative AI while mitigating
  personal risk\, addressing implicit bias\, and reducing environmental im
