SUMMARY:Bovay Seminar Series: GenAI for Teaching and Learning Community of
  Practice
LOCATION:Tang Hall 399\, Cornell Campus
DESCRIPTION:Cornell’s AI Undergraduate Fellows Program studies how generat
ive AI is shaping student learning inside and outside the classroom. In t
his session\, we will share preliminary results from more than 200 studen
t surveys and 20+ interviews\, covering how students use AI\, how course
policies shape that use\, and how students see AI preparing them for thei
r careers. We will then lead a discussion of what these early findings me
an for teaching and learning at Cornell. We’d love your feedback\, especi
ally on what instructors would find most useful to learn from this resear
ch as we finalize our findings for the Spring 2027 event.\n\nAs a reminde
r\, these monthly lunches provide an opportunity to learn more about GenA
I as it applies to multiple disciplines\, hear what other instructors hav
e tried\, and to ask questions and share ideas. This series is co-sponsor
ed by the Center for Teaching Innovation and the Sue G. and Harry E. Bova
y Program in the History and Ethics of Professional Engineering.\n\nRegis
tration is required to attend this event\, as the room space is limited.\
