SUMMARY:Theatre Performance: The Apiary by Kate Douglas
LOCATION:Jennifer Jenkins Stage
DESCRIPTION:The Apiary by Kate Douglas is a darkly funny and deeply unsett
ling new play set in a near future where the survival of the bee populati
on may come at an unimaginable human cost. Inside a secretive research fa
cility\, four women navigate impossible ethical choices\, corporate despe
ration\, and a horrifying discovery that blurs the line between human sur
vival and monstrous transformation.\n\nBlending sharp humor\, psychologic
al suspense\, and speculative horror\, The Apiary explores environmental
collapse\, sacrifice\, and the terrifying logic of “the greater good” wit
h the intensity of a nightmare and the wit of a razor-sharp satire.\n\n“S
ave the bees by any means necessary.”\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/361b
