SUMMARY:Introduction to Unity High Performance Computing Cluster
DESCRIPTION:This monthly workshop walks participants through getting start
ed on Unity\, a high-performance computing cluster hosted at the Massachu

chers. Geared toward new users\, the session covers requesting and settin
g up a Unity account\, connecting to the cluster over SSH\, navigating th
e filesystem and understanding storage and permissions\, loading software
modules\, and submitting and monitoring jobs with SLURM. Attendees will
also learn where to find documentation and how to reach the Research Comp
uting team for further help. While the material is aimed at newcomers\, t
he session is adapted to the experience level of those attending\, so ret
urning users are welcome to bring specific questions about their own work
 flows.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/384368fe-6600-445d-b9e8-78c062b8678
