DESCRIPTION:The Office for Faculty Development is pleased to announce the 
 call for applications for the Dean’s Teaching Fellowship Program. The DTF
  program is open to junior and mid-career faculty members committed to ac
 ademic careers.\n\nThe Dean’s Teaching Fellowship Program (DTF) is design
 ed to:\n\nFurther the development of a core group of master educatorsProm
 ote the careers of faculty in medical/dental educationSupport educational
  innovations and research at the URSMD\n\nIn this program\, fellows will 
 work closely with one another and education experts to:\n\nImplement educ
 ational projectsLearn educational theoryExplore new teaching methodsDevel
 op skills in educational research\, curriculum innovation\, and assessmen
 tFoster educational leadership and career planning skills\n\nUpon complet
 ion of the program\, fellows will have conducted a scholarly educational 
 project and acquired new skills in domains such as academic leadership\, 
 curriculum design\, large and small group teaching\, case construction\, 
 methods of assessment\, and educational outcomes research.\n\nFellows rec
 eive an annual stipend of $15\,000 for salary/benefits relief. We acknowl
 edge that this stipend only partially offsets the 15% time commitment. It
  is expected that the fellow’s department will ensure that the 15% time w
 ill be provided. Up to $3\,000 is also available annually to each fellow 
 to support research-related expenses and travel.\n\nInformation Session:
