DESCRIPTION:Project: Ascension is Threads runway theme for our 2026 Fashio
 n Show. The theme invites designers and artists in to re-examine why we d
 ress the body. Susan B. Kaiser stated in her work The Social Psychology o
 f Clothing (1985)\, that we dress the body for three mains reasons: prote
 ction\, adornment\, and communication. Designers are tasked to look at ho
 w they can use the body as a medium for art while addressing one of the t
 hree reasons why we dress the body. Project: Ascension takes place in the
  future\, where silhouettes\, styles\, and fashion take on a whole differ
 ent meaning. Come join us on the runway on November 16\, 2026 in the Elli
