SUMMARY:Visiting Artist and Scholar: Tatiana Mesa Pajan
LOCATION:Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) 322\, 1110 South Capital Blvd\,
 Boise\, ID 83725
DESCRIPTION:Join Visiting Artist and Scholar Tatiana Mesa Pajan for her le
cture titled "The Writing of The Glimpse".\n\nThe Writing of the Glimpse
is an artist book and research-based project that documents fleeting\, ev
eryday human gestures\, such as kissing\, waiting\, sleeping\, or sitting
  in silence\, through creative writing\, performance\, and image-making.
The work approaches these actions as universal materials\, cataloged and
reactivated through poetic documentation rather than spectacle. Using tra
 ditional printmaking methods\, including intaglio\, letterpress\, photogr
 avure\, and risograph\, the project will culminate in a limited-edition a
rtist book accompanied by a collaborative appendix featuring contribution
s from writers and artists across multiple languages. An additional ecolo
gical iteration will exist as ephemeral chlorophyll prints installed temp
 orarily in forest environments.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/3b55bf63-d
