 \, we’ll explore the Hofstede Cultural Dimensions Database and its countr
 y comparison tool\, a framework for examining cultural patterns across si
 x dimensions. Drawing on a visit to Kenya\, we’ll begin by exploring Keny
 a’s cultural data and reflecting on how the scores connect with or challe
 nge our impressions and experiences of the country\, including social int
 eractions.\n\nFrom there\, participants will use the comparison tool to e
 xplore countries of their choice\, looking at similarities and difference
 s and considering how cultural values and expectations might shape commun
 ication\, teaching\, learning\, and collaboration across cultures.\n\nWhe
 ther you're a student\, professor\, or just plain curious about the world
 \, you'll leave with a new tool for exploring cultural differences\, ques
 tions to carry into future experiences\, and a reminder that data can ope
