 th a single work of art? What can we learn from closely examining a miner
 al specimen?\n\nA Closer Look: Collections in Focus is a new series invit
 ing students\, faculty\, staff and community members to look closely\, as
 k questions and share ideas about objects from the University of Delaware
  Museums’ collections.\n\nFor each 30-minute conversation\, an undergradu
 ate gallery attendant will guide an informal discussion centered on a sin
 gle artwork or mineral specimen currently on view. No prior knowledge is 
 needed—just curiosity and a willingness to look a little closer.\n\nFor o
 ur November program\, Heath Manrakhan\, a sophomore history education maj
 or\, will lead a conversation about Evening in Summer by Carl Christian\,
  a work of art on view in the Mechanical Hall exhibition Assembled: Colla
 ge\, Assemblage\, and Mixed Media.\n\nCome take a closer look. You may be
