 long conversation\, whether in words–written or spoken–or through visuals
 \, there are times when stream of consciousness prevails. Ideas pour fort
 h seamlessly\, effortlessly–tumbling\, roaring\, pulsing with energy betw
 een the participants\, punctuated by times of quiet introspection\, provi
 ding calm reflection and drawing on private inner resources before the co
 nversation renews. Such parleys are evident in Asymmetrical\, as the coup
 le reveals their distinctive but interwoven practices\, both turbulent an
 d tranquil\, through their respective mark-making. Visual abstraction can
  be challenging or meditative\, inviting viewers to unpack color\, form\,
  line\, shape\, and texture\, as well as positive and negative space.\n\n
