DESCRIPTION:September 1 - December 11\, 2026\n\nReclaimed: The Art of Reco
 logy presents a survey of 33 artists who were selected to participate in 
 Recology’s Artist-in-Residence program\, which began in 1990. Armed with 
 safety gear and a shopping cart\, each of these artists have scavenging p
 rivileges in the Public Reuse and Recycling Area—what most artists refer 
 to as “The Big Store”—to recycle and reclaim the discarded waste as imagi
 ned art objects. Through introspective\, playful\, and highly original ex
 plorations\, the artists reveal the hidden stories our rubbish tells us a
 bout our complex relationship with the world\, while highlighting the nee
 d to create sustainable communities.\n\nThis exhibition is curated by Emi
 lee Enders. The exhibition tour is organized by Bedford Gallery at the Le
