DESCRIPTION:The CGAT program\, sponsored by the Government Finance Officer
 s Association of Alabama\, is a series of courses intended to improve the
  professional and fiscal skills of attendees. This training is not exclus
 ive to GFOAA members.\n\nBilling/Accounts Receivable is an accounting cou
 rse. The objective is to familiarize the participant with techniques to r
 ecord money that is owed and/or paid to your entity for products or servi
 ces that have been rendered by your municipality on credit to its custome
 rs. This course counts as a 6-hour elective course toward the Certified G
 overnmental Accounting Technician Certificate awarded by the Government F
