 ut the Author\n\nCurtis Chin is the author of the award-winning memoir\, 
 Everything I learned\, I learned in a Chinese Restaurant and the founding
  executive director of the Asian American Writers Workshop\, which he co-
 funded in New York City in 1991. Chin has written for CNN\, Bon Appetit\,
  the Detroit Free Press\, and the Boston Globe\, as well as television pr
 ograms on ABC\, Disney Channel\, and Nickelodeon. His directorial work in
 cludes the documentary short\, Dear Corky (2022)\, which premiered on Ame
 rican Masters (PBS). He is currently working on his forthcoming memoir Li
