 ough Mathematics\n\nEl-Farrah is a mathematician and mathematics educator
  who recently defended her PhD in Curriculum & Instruction–Mathematics Ed
 ucation at LSU. She holds a master's degree in mathematics and is particu
 larly interested in how people develop an understanding and appreciation
