 st and support others who may be experiencing a mental health or substanc
 e use challenge. Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based practice tr
 aining offered virtually and in-person and uses community-specific scenar
 ios\, activities\, and videos to teach the skills needed to recognize and
  respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challen
 ges as well as how to provide initial support until they are connected wi
 th appropriate professional help.\n\nRequirements: Each employee must reg
 ister for one of the training courses offered and complete the pre-work a
 t least 24 business hours before the class date. If pre-work is not compl
