SUMMARY:Fun Size: MakerJam 2026 Showcase
LOCATION:DePaul Center (DPC) Lower Level Concourse\, 1 E Jackson Blvd
DESCRIPTION:Come see the projects made during MakerJam! Celebrate the spir
it of playful design\, creativity\, and experimentation.\n\nAbout MakerJa
m\nMakerJam is inspired by events where participants make things on compr
essed timelines\, like Game Jams\, Hackathons\, and HeboCon. Events like
these encourage explorative design and playful making rather than polish.
Themes serve to direct ideation\, offering some constraints through whic
h to creatively approach your project.\n\nIn this spirit\, MakerJam empha
sizes making\, creativity\, and playfulness in design over the finished p
roduct. It is an event that embraces failure as a learning experience in
design education. This is an invitation to take creative risks\, try some
thing out\, lean into uncertainty and unconventional but thoughtfully con
 sidered approaches\, be avant garde.\n\nDate & Time: Friday\, November 20
 \, 2026 1:30-3 PM\nLocation: DePaul Center Concourse\n\nIf you are a coll
ege student and would like to participate in MakerJam and showcase your p
 roject\, please signup here: https://forms.gle/QEc5cBXGxcB6QbAJ9\n\nhttp:
