DESCRIPTION:Graduate Writing Workshop | Tackling the Lit (literature) Revi
 ew\n\nThursday\, November 12\, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.\, online\n\nThis practical 
 workshop is aimed at graduate students who are new to literature reviews 
 or are looking to strengthen their approach. We’ll explore how to move be
 yond summarizing individual sources to identify key conversations\, theme
 s\, connections\, and gaps within existing scholarship. Participants will
  work through strategies for finding and organizing relevant research\, s
 ynthesizing sources\, and developing a literature review that establishes
  the scholarly context for their own research.\n\nPresenter: Juliet Ellin
 ger MBA\, MA\, PhD student in English\n\nPresenter Bio: Juliet Ellinger (
 publishes as Juliet Ellinger-Cruz) is a writer and Ph.D. student in Engli
 sh at the University of Cincinnati. Her research explores feminist care w
 ork\, disability studies\, and equitable writing pedagogy. Her scholarshi
 p develops pragmatic and accessibility-centered approaches to composition
 \, including her 2025 peer-reviewed article\, “Pedagogical Engagement and
  Extension: Pragmatic Approaches to Teaching First-Year College Writing t
 o Struggling Writers\,” published in Insights into Learning Disabilities.
