 atered lunch\, free and open to all!\n\nShay Xianyang Zhang is a PhD stud
 ent in sociocultural anthropology whose research focuses on human-environ
 ment relations\, labor\, and globalization. His current research examines
  how the American eel aquacultural supply chain intersects with global tr
 ade\, conservation\, and tribal sovereignty\, reshaping resource control\
 , ecological priorities\, and political-economic power. Shay is also devo
 ted to creative writing and social activism. Originally from Beijing\, Ch
 ina\, Shay received his BA in Anthropology from the University of Michiga
