  Yafeng Yin is a professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Dep
 artment and Industrial and Operations Engineering Department at Universit
 y of Michigan\, Ann Arbor. His research aims to analyze and enhance multi
 modal transportation systems towards efficiency\, resilience and environm
 ental sustainability. Currently he focuses on developing innovative mobil
 ity solutions and services by leveraging vehicle connectivity and automat
 ion. Yin has published nearly 150 refereed papers in leading academic jou
 rnals. He also has extensive experience with editing academic journals. H
 e was the Editor-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Tec
 hnologies between 2014 and 2020 and currently serves as Area Editor of Tr
 ansportation Science and Associate Editor of Transportation Research Part
  B: Methodological\, another two flagship journals in the transportation 
 domain. He also serves on the International Advisory Committee of the Int
 ernational Symposium of Transportation and Traffic Theory and the Steerin
 g Committee of the World Conference on Transport Research Society.\n\nYin
  has received recognition from different institutions\, including the Mon
