 ng - 473 Via Ortega\, Stanford\, CA Room\, 380F
DESCRIPTION:Curious what an existing product\, its evolution\, and real-w
orld usage data can teach us about building what comes next?\n\nJoin us
for STVP Studio: Deconstruct → Reconstruct!\n\nThe Stanford Technology V
entures Program (STVP) invites you to a half-day\, hands-on workshop feat
uring Mill\, an in-home food-recycling system designed to transform how h
ouseholds manage food scraps.\n\nWorking in interdisciplinary teams\, yo
u will interact with the Mill food recycler\, examine anonymized customer
and usage data\, and deconstruct the assumptions behind its users\, desi
gn\, technology\, value proposition\, and business model. You will then u
se your findings to propose and test a possible next step for the product
or its market application.\n\nAt this STVP Studio\, you’ll:\n\nInvestig
ate: Examine the product and available data\, map the user experience\, a
nd identify the decisions and assumptions embedded in the current system.
\n\nStress test: Explore competing interpretations\, identify evidence g
aps and biases\, and consider where the product\, experience\, propositio
n\, or market application could be strengthened.\n\nReconstruct: Develop
an evidence-based proposal for what Mill could try next\, such as a prod
uct feature\, customer experience intervention\, new market application\,
  channel\, partnership\, or focused experiment.\n\nShare your findings:
Present and defend your recommendation based on evidence\, reasoning\, an
d clearly stated assumptions\, not presentation polish.\n\nWho Should At
