DESCRIPTION:The term Cerebral Palsy describes a number of motor disorders 
 affecting the brain that cause\ndisability in human development. The St. 
 Louis Children's Hospital’s CPSR program provides\nchildren with Cerebral
  Palsy opportunities to experience sports in a whole new dimension. The\n
 program aims to offer a wide variety of sports options that help keep ind
 ividuals with CP active\nfor life. Importantly\, CPSR helps children with
  CP embrace the concept that health and physical\nfitness are possible an
 d necessary in order to maximize independence. Volunteers provide\nassist
 ance to teachers and children in a number of rehabilitation classes\, inc
 luding year-long\ndance and martial arts classes as well as basketball an
