DESCRIPTION:People living in rural areas face distinct barriers to reprodu
 ctive health care\, including long travel distances to providers\, a shor
 tage of accessible specialists\, limited public transportation\, unafford
 able services\, gaps in insurance coverage\, stigma\, and poverty.\n\nJoi
 n researchers from the Mills Institute Reproductive Justice Research Stre
 am to learn about their work to address these challenges. The project bri
 ngs together scholars and practitioners from across Maine to advance rese

 earch Stream\nThis working group is part of the Research Justice at the I
 ntersections (RJI) Program at the Mills Institute\, which fosters social 
 justice-oriented research and groundbreaking critical analysis by creatin
 g an interdisciplinary\, competitively selected community of scholars eac
 h academic year. RJI scholars meet regularly to share and comment on work
 s in progress\, with an end goal of sharing research in a public-facing c
