SUMMARY:Catholic Bible Study
LOCATION:CAS 205
DESCRIPTION:Reading the Bible can be intimidating... let's do it together!
\n\nEvery Thursday this semester during college hour\, at 2:30-3:30pm in
the Center for Academic Success\, room 205\, you're invited to sit with u
s and read the Gospels.\n\nWhether you have never opened a Bible before\,
or read it every day\, all are welcome to sit\, listen\, participate\, r
ead\, and reflect! This Bible Study is hosted by Catholic Campus Ministry
and Catholic Newman Club\, and provides a Catholic perspective to the Go
spels- however\, you do not have to be Catholic or even Christian to lear
n or listen in. We start each week with an intro on how to read or use th
e Bible for those who are not familiar\, and the study is led by Campus M
inister Lucia.\n\nCampus Ministry provides the Bibles as well as food/sna
cks each week to enjoy. New attendees can also receive a copy of the stud
y Bibles we use. Come for a few minutes\, or stay for the full hour- what
ever you are comfortable with! Your level of participation is up to you.
You are welcome to bring your own Bible/translation you prefer.\n\nQuesti
ons/ Requests to receive our weekly newsletter can be directed to Campus
Minister Lucia at lpasternak@kean.edu. Follow @KeanCatholics on instagram
