 , from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm in the Human Ecology Building. There will be comm
 entary from the museum curator Dr. Michael Mamp\, as well as refreshments
 !\n\nRegular museum hours will resume on Monday May 4th\, 2026 and run th
 rough January 15th\, 2027.\n\nStitches in Time: Quilts & Fashion explores
  the enduring dialogue between quilt making and dress. Nineteenth and twe
 ntieth-century quilts are juxtaposed with quilted fashions to highlight c
 onnections in technique\, color\, and historical moment. At the heart of 
 the exhibition is a remarkable recent gift from Sylvia R. Karasu\, MD\, C
 linical Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine\, a collection 
 of garments by legendary American designer and Louisianian\, Geoffrey Bee
 ne. These pieces represent Beene's enduring attention to craftsmanship\, 
 fabrication\, and quilting as a means of elevating design and detail in h
