DESCRIPTION:George Lucas and Mellody Hobson co-founded the Lucas Museum of
  Narrative Art to\nhonor the universal tradition of telling stories throu
 gh images. Located in Exposition\nPark\, the Museum is housed in a 300\,0
 00-square-foot building designed by Ma\nYansong of MAD Architects - the c
 enterpiece of a new 11-acre campus including a\npublic park\, two cinemat
 ic theaters\, a research library\, and educational spaces.\nInaugural exh
 ibitions include more than 1\,300 objects representing narrative art\nacr
 oss time and around the world. Installed across more than 30 galleries\, 
 they\noccupy approximately 100\,000 square feet of gallery space. Encompa
 ssing\neverything from prehistoric cave paintings to today’s screen art\,
  the Museum\nexplores and celebrates the power of visual storytelling to 
 inspire individuals\, give\nshape to beliefs and ideals\, and forge commu
