SUMMARY:Microplastics in Garden Soil
LOCATION:Milwaukie Center\, 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Dr. Milwaukie\, OR 97222
 .
DESCRIPTION:What are microplastics\, and how might they impact my garden?
Microplastics are ubiquitous in the environment\, yet very little is know
n about their impact on garden soils or garden ecology. This talk will pr
ovide an overview of what we know about plastics in soils: where they com
e from\, and how they might affect soils\, plants\, and other life within
the soil.\n\nAnna Perry\, M.S. student in the Oregon State University Ga
rden Ecology Lab\, will be presenting this talk.\n\nThis talk is part of
the Clackamas County Master Gardener Lecture series\, held on the 2nd Mon
day of each month. Talks are free and open to the public.\n\nhttp://next-
