SUMMARY:Belmont in Spain: Summer Spanish Language in Valladolid Study Abro
 ad Info Session
LOCATION:Ayers 2080
DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about the Belmont in Spain: Summer Spani
sh Language in Valladolid study abroad program!\n\nThis 4.5 week academic
program takes place in Valladolid (Spain)\, in the region of Castilla y
León\, for six credits of Spanish language study. The Spanish classes wil
l concentrate on learning about Spanish culture and history as well as co
mmunication skills: speaking\, listening\, reading\, and writing Spanish.
Students will participate in four meetings with “Conversation Partners”
to practice Spanish with native speakers.\n\nYou will be learning about S
pain with day trips to Salamanca and Segovia and a long weekend to explor
e the sites of Madrid. As an important part of the immersion process\, pa
rticipants will live with Spanish families who are requested to only spea
k Spanish with the students - usually one Belmont student per family in i
ndividual rooms. Students become members of the family during their stay
and\, therefore\, must obey the house rules and treat their Spanish famil
ies with respect and courtesy. The families will take care of laundry and
  provide 3 meals each day.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/a994702d-0405-4
