SUMMARY:Bible drive for Appalachian Prison Book Project
LOCATION:Spruce Street UMC\, Wesley UMC\, and Suncrest UMC
DESCRIPTION:The Appalachian Prison Book Project (APBP) sends free books an
d provides educational opportunities to people imprisoned in six Appalach
 ian states (West Virginia\, Virginia\, Tennessee\, Kentucky\, Ohio\, and
Maryland).\n\nBibles are a frequent request from prisoners\, so APBP’s in
ventory is often low. For the month of November\, Spruce Street\, Wesley\
, and Suncrest United Methodist Churches will be collecting new Bibles an
d study Bibles for APBP\, so we can spread the good news of God’s love\,
grace\, and mercy with all. Please note that we are only accepting new\,
softcover books – most facilities do not allow hardbacks and have strict
rules on the condition of used books. We are encouraging donations of the
Common English Bible (CEB) translation\; however\, the King James Versio
 n (KJV) is a frequent request\, also.\n\nTo arrange a donation drop-off\,
  please contact Nina at njh0014@mix.wvu.edu!\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/even
