SUMMARY:A Mission Born from the Fukushima Nuclear Accident: Building Diamo
nd Semiconductors for Decommissioning and Beyond
DESCRIPTION:Guest speaker Masahiro Kida\, Director of Business Development
at Ookuma Diamond Device\, will explore the evolution of diamond semicon
ductor research. Learn how the challenges of decommissioning Fukushima Da
iichi brought together research expertise in Japan and led to the foundin
g of Ookuma Diamond Device\, followed by its journey toward commercializa
tion and manufacturing. Kida will also share the company’s vision for app
lying diamond semiconductor technology beyond decommissioning.\n\nDr. Ric
hard Dasher\, Director of the US-Asia Technology Management Center\, will
