DESCRIPTION:Join us for Art & Design Day on Saturday\, November 7\, from 9
 :30 AM–1:30 PM\n\nThe Department of Art at Miami University invites high 
 school students and prospective transfer students to experience what it m
 eans to be a RedHawk artist during Art & Design Day.\n\nJoin us for a fir
 st-hand look at Miami’s nationally recognized programs in Studio Art\, Ar
 t Education\, Art & Architecture History\, Graphic + Experience Design\, 
 and Fashion.\n\nStudents are encouraged to bring their art and writing fo
 r a pop-up display\, with a chance to earn scholarships of up to $5\,000!
  Enjoy lunch alongside professors and current students\, learn about admi
 ssions\, portfolios\, scholarships\, career opportunities\, take part in 
 a guided tour of the arts facilities\, and get hands-on experience in a b
 rief art workshop in one of Miami's many studios.\n\nSpecial opportunitie
 s: Participants will be eligible to win one of five scholarships that wil
 l be awarded (one $5\,000 award and four $1\,000 awards). Scholarship rec
 ipients must attend Art & Design Day\, bring a work to display in the pop
 -up exhibit\, and apply to the Department of Art by Dec. 1\, 2026. The wi
 nners will be announced on Dec. 10. In addition\, the application fee wil
