SUMMARY:Data-driven Learning and Control Seminar: Angela Schoellig (TU Mun
 ich)
DESCRIPTION:Data Driven Learning and Control seminar series is organized b
y the Information and Decision Science Lab at Cornell University and aims
to explore the latest advancements and interdisciplinary approaches to d
ata-driven learning and control systems.\n\nWatch on YouTube Live\n\nBio:
Angela Schoellig is an Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Robotics and
Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich. She is a m
ember of the Board of Directors at the Munich Institute of Robotics and M
achine Intelligence and serves as the coordinator of the Robotics Institu
te Germany. Before moving to Munich in 2022\, she was an associate profes

ontrols\, and machine learning. Her goal is to enhance the performance\,
safety\, and autonomy of robots by enabling them to learn from past exper
iments and from each other. Angela has held a Canada Research Chair (Tier
  2) in Machine Learning for Robotics & Control and a Canada CIFAR Chair i
n AI. She has also been a principal investigator of the NSERC Canadian Ro
botics Network. Angela is the recipient of an NSERC Arthur B. McDonald Fe
