SUMMARY:"LGBTQIA+ Mental Wellness" SHARE Community Meeting
LOCATION:COLA Student Well-Being Center\, JES A-223A\, Jester West Dormito
 ry 201 E 21st St\, Austin\, TX 78705
DESCRIPTION:Finding a supportive LGBTQIA+ community can be challenging\, e
specially when you're busy with academics or still working through comple
x parts of your identity or personal history. Within LGBTQIA Mental Welln
ess we delve into the many facets of being a part of the LGBTQIA+ communi
ty while creating opportunities for joy and well-being. Through artistic
activities\, intentional conversation and storytelling\, we explore this
piece of our lives while learning from each other. Come join a community
that is welcoming for all\, centered around our unique journeys.\n\nNote:
This is not a replacement for clinical mental health services.\n\nSHARE
Communities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar intere
sts\, concerns\, or wellness goals can find community and social connecti
on that goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the
grind and let down the mask\, where mutual support\, imperfection\, and “
real” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. We aim
to give fellow students a place to be themselves and feel at home\, wher
e their resources and inner wisdom can directly benefit others going thro
 ugh similar struggles.\n\nINTEREST FORM:https://utexas.qualtrics.com/jfe/
form/SV_0cQj17kHGFMwma2\n\nAny UT student may submit an interest form and
attend ANY open SHARE Community at ANY time of the semester. Submitting
an interest form is not a commitment\, just an introduction to connect yo
 u with our peer facilitators!\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/b4c811fa-c95
