DESCRIPTION:In this presentation\, poet\, author\, and disability advocate
  LeDerick Horne will draw from his journey as a Black man with a learning
  disability and more than two decades of advocacy to explore the connecti
 ons between disability identity\, service\, and social change. Through po
 etry\, personal stories\, disability history\, and practical strategies\,
  LeDerick will explore how developing a positive disability identity can 
 serve as a foundation for leadership and service while examining the impo
 rtance of broadening the disability narrative. Participants will leave wi
