SUMMARY:GE Community Hour: Defend Your Major
LOCATION:Human Rights Institute Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Earth is gone. Resources are limited. Humanity is starting ove
r on a new planet\, and there’s only room for the fields of study that ca
n prove their worth. Can your major earn its place?\n\nJoin the Human Rig
hts Institute for an interactive GE Community Hour where you’ll make the
case for your field. Explain why your major matters\, challenge other stu
dents\, form alliances\, and work together to decide what humanity needs
to survive and thrive.\n\nNo preparation needed\, just bring your perspec
tive and be ready to think on your feet. It’s a fun way to meet students
from other programs and see how different fields depend on each other.\n\
