 . Brisson.\n\nThe F.I.U. Saxophone Quartet and F.I.U. Saxophone Ensemble

 cal traditions. American Variations celebrates America 250 with the remar
 kable diversity of the American musical landscape. This concert features 
 solely American composers . The quartet will perform works by David Masla
 nka\, Samuel Barber\, and Philip Glass\, offering an intimate exploration
  of contrasting colors\, textures\, and voices.\n\nThe F.I.U. Saxophone E
 nsemble expands the sonic palette with a dynamic program featuring the mu
 sic of John Philip Sousa\, Edwin Eugene Bagley\, Henry Fillmore\, Charles
  Ives\, Robert Russell Bennett\, and Caryn Rasmussen’s transcription of M
 ack Wilbert’s arrangement of the traditional folk song “Shenandoah.”\n\nF
 rom intimate chamber music to the expansive sound of the saxophone ensemb
 le\, American Variations promises an engaging concert celebrating the cre
 ativity\, character\, and breadth of traditional American music.\n\nThe F
