DESCRIPTION:The Next Act brings together graduate students to share their 
 experiences\, advice\, and honest tips on navigating grad school\, giving
  Ipals members real insight from people who've recently walked that path.
  This event is essential because it increases exposure to graduate opport
 unities\, while also serving as a guide through the added layers of the p
 rocess\; funding\, visas\, and adjusting to a new academic system. After 
 the panel\, students write a letter to their futureselves\, reflecting on
  what they heard and setting an intention for where they want to be by th
 e time\nthey're applying or starting their own program. Light refreshment
 s (coffee\, tea\, biscuits) are essential to setting the right tone for t
 he event\; they create a relaxed\, informal atmosphere that encourages ho
 nest conversation rather than a stiff\, lecture-style panel\, and give st
 udents a comfortable space to linger and keep talking with panelists once
