SUMMARY:FIU Quantum Distinguished Lecture: Entanglement\, Quantum Networks
\, and Engine of the Economy of the Future?
LOCATION:EC - Engineering Center EC 2300\, 10555 W Flagler ST\, Engineerin
 g Center\, Miami\, Florida 33174
DESCRIPTION:Many are predicting that quantum technology will form the basi
s for the future of technology and the international economy. As a result
\, many nations and businesses are investing heavily in “Quantum Informat
ion Science\,” to include the development of quantum computers\, sensors\
, and networks. In this talk\, Dr. Peters will describe a key resource to
enable this quantum future\, entanglement\, and how it might be useful i
n the future. He will also describe connections to modern digital systems
that make our world function as well as dispel some common misconception
 s surrounding future quantum systems.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/c302
