 nd event in the Advancing Connection Science Convening Series\, an intera
 ctive\, student-led experience where participants become co-designers of 
 connection at UC San Diego.\n\nRather than simply listening to presentati
 ons\, you'll collaborate across disciplines to share ideas\, reflect on l
 ived experiences\, and explore the science behind human connection. Toget
 her\, we'll explore psychological and physiological processes underlying 
 human connection\, including empathy\, compassion\, and belonging. Throug
 h interdisciplinary discussion\, we’ll work toward a shared understanding
  of why connection happens and begin developing a conceptual framework li
 nking lived experiences of connection to measurable research constructs.\
